New Divorce Website Offers HelpUseful Family Law Information at www.Divorce-123.comApril 5, 2000 -- The new family law Website www.Divorce-123.com offers practical and useful family law information about California family law. This site was developed by Debra Vaniman Crawford a family law mediator and attorney to help people understand the divorce process and procedures. Debra's philosophy is that when people understand their cases they are able to make better decisions about their cases and their lives. The divorce process can have a tremendous impact on people's lives. When people understand and have more control over the process they can minimize the negativity of this impact. This is particularly important when children are involved. Debra is a Certified Family Law Specialist (Certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization) and has been practicing family law for more than 15 years. Debra began her family law career as a volunteer attorney at the Women's Legal Clinic where she assisted many people with their family law paperwork and cases. Debra's dedication to helping people help themselves has continued. She provides innovative "unbundled" legal services where the clients choose the extent of legal help appropriate for their situations. The Divorce 123 Website has many useful features for people considering or in the process of divorce. The Frequently Asked Questions section answers many basic questions about divorce. Debra has posted several informative articles about divorce which include a sample parenting plan, co-parenting guidelines, and chapter one of her new book Divorce 123, A Client's Guide to California Divorce. This chapter entitled "Before You File" is essential reading for anyone considering divorce. The site's bookstore features Debra's new book. Coming soon to the bookstore are selected titles of interest to people in family crisis that are selected by Debra and available at Amazon.com. The Resources section contains a court directory, a legal services directory, and information on mediation services, support groups, attorneys, and websites. The site also features a Discussion group moderated by Debra. Several legal service packages are available through the site. Visit the site to Register to receive free information.
