The "timeshare" percentage affects the amount of support payable. The more time the noncusodical parent has with the child, the less support paid. Generally, it is calculated by the amount of time the child spends with the parent. It is difficult to figure times at school, etc. Most courts give that time to the parent who drops the child off.
