my husband died in june the house has never been in my name but he quit claimed it to me before he died i had made the house payments for 9 years due to his divorice he would never have had enough money after child support to pay them but he payed the other house bills. my question is does the quit claim deed give me the house free and clear or am i still obligated to pay the mortgage payments which is only in his name
