I am in the process of divorcing. We just get an amicable settlement and on the amicable settlement it says that we have joint legal custody with physical, custody and education, health, welfare and continuing contact with both parents. Debra, you probably knew that form that is available in the court where most of the time the divorcing couple is sent to do some agreements and this form is always there. My question is what is a joint legal with custody with both parents having physical custody? I read the california family law book and it exactly the same with joint physical custody. What is that form there? (JOINT LEGAL CUSTODY with both parents having physical, custody and continuing contact with both parents).
