Beth, A change of venue involves either a motion or a stipulation with the other party. Where does the other party live now? I can prepare necessary paperwork. If a motion is necessary, I cannot make a court appearance, but you can do that. When a case is moved, you will have to pay the filing fee in the new venue. The Los Angeles filing fee is now $194.00.
