Once again, the answer depends on what your court order says. Usually you need either written permission from the other parent or an order of the court. Look at your order. If that is the case, then try to get permission from the father. If he won't give permission, you'll need to apply to the court for an order that you may take the child out of the state. While you're at it try to get that restriction removed permanently. The procedure is called an Order to Show Cause. Let me know if you need help. Debra
