Claire, what does your current order provide? Sometimes spousal support is non-modifiable. The wording of the order determines what can be done. He cannot simply decide to change lifestyles and not support you. All financial circumstances including his inheritance will be considered. Technically, his obligation to pay will not stop until the Court makes an order changing it. Once again, alot depends on what your order says. Let me know. Debra.
