Child support set in 1994 in California, and not changed since. Mother has since had 2 more children (husband #2), moved to Idaho and no change in her income. Conditions have changed ... 1) 17 year old preparing for college in September 2001 ... will be 18 in May. 2) The only other child in question relative to child support issue is an 11 year old son. 3) The father has had a significant raise in income (to approximately $80k). Mother makes approximately $15k. 4) Father pays $1136 per month child support. 5) Mother has full physical custody - Father has approximately 12% visitation. 6) Mother pays all transportation costs for visitation in California father to Idaho and children to California
How do we make changes, more equitable and not cost an arm & a leg! bpk / plk
